This fall and even into this winter, Google has told me that people are reaching my little ole' blog by Googling "What to wear with mustard pants," "what matches with the color mustard," "mustard colored scarf," and "mustard jeans." {Just to name a few.}
I've gotten kind of a kick out of it because I'm almost positive I've never posted about mustard jeans, tops, scarves, cardis, OR my obsession with the color. Nonetheless - what a fantastic idea for a post! Plus, I want my readers to get the information they're searching for!
Mustard is one of "those" colors. People see it and they're like, "that looks like the color of pee." I'm serious, they do! Anytime I shop with my girlfriends or sisters, I hear that exact line. I'm not even joking with ya.
Time to debunk that myth. And the next person who says that will probably be whipped with my mustard colored scarf.

I've always been drawn to it, though! Yellow is my favorite color and I heart neutrals... So it's kind of that perfect match!

My BIGGEST tip for wearing mustard is simply to WEAR IT WITH BASICS! (White, black, brown, grey, navy...) You can't do wrong if you do! My favorite thing about the color is that you can make it look neutral and natural, or a bit more edgy!
Seriously ladies, just call me the mustard queen. I love me a good fashion statement and this color does just that!

Mustard is not a color for me, but we all have those colors we just love to wear. For me, it's probably a tie between fuchsia and turquoise.
