A three day weekend has never felt so good because, well, I hardly EVER blog on a Monday. And today? I'm doing so in my jammies while sitting on the couch. Praise the good Lord for Martin Luther King!
This weekend was fan-freaking-tastic. I had lots of lazy time, but I was still decently productive. I love that. The PERFECT balance.
{Saturday morning} Woke up to my baby, Hazel, at the end of my bed and keeping my feet warm! She was even covered up. Aww.
{Saturday afternoon} Off to work and so excited to do so! Having a job you look forward to going to is truly one of the greatest rewards there is in this world.
{Saturday night} My May Books package was waiting for me when I got home from work! I'm so excited to break in my cute new planner! It's totally "me" too! Right down to the yellow chevron. :-)
{Sunday morning} My heart was SO full after teaching Sunday school and going to church. I was assigned to an Autistic boy one-on-one for the morning and I had such a blast spending time with him. He is such a sweetheart and I can't wait for the next Sunday I get to work with him! I love doing the things God has set in my heart. Sharing the compassion He's given me is SUCH a blessing.
{Saturday afternon/night} I was SO bummed when the Falcons lost! I love me some southern boys. I pulled out the chocolate late into the 4th quarter... And, yeah. That's where I sat.
{Monday morning} IT'S. FREEZING. A high of -6 today with a low of -22. It's been declared a movie day with LOTS of blankets until I have to go to the dentist later. Pray that I don't litterally freeze when I step outside...

I can't believe your temps! It's been abnormally cold in LA too, but back into the high 70s/low 80s this week.
